MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE PAROCHIAL CHURCH COUNCIL, ST. BARNABAS CHURCH, LINSLADE, HELD ON SUNDAY,

63/05   To approve the accounts

 

            Jo explained the accounts that have been agreed by the Independent Examiner. We had still met our Parish share even though giving through the envelope scheme is lower than is needed. There is a loss of £6,000 on unrestricted funds. Nick proposed and Russell seconded that we accept the accounts as presented. All agreed. Catherine expressed a big thank you to Jo for all the work involved in presenting the accounts.

           

64/05   To approve the PCC report

 

            Keith explained that we were presenting the reports in a document this year that would be available to the congregation on the Sunday before the APCM. This would give people time to read the report and to submit their comments if they were unable to attend the meeting. A copy of the PCC report, as it appears in the document, was circulated. Simon proposed and Alison seconded that the report be accepted. All agreed.

66/05   Date of next meetings

 

            Standing Committee will meet on 9th May and the PCC on 23rd May.

 

            There being no further business the meeting concluded at 12.05 pm.
